BROOKVILLE, Ohio -- Officials at Brookville High School have put their band director on paid administrative leave.

Band Director Jason Novak received documents stating he cannot be on school grounds nor have any contact with school employees or students.

As of right now, it is unclear why he was put on administrative leave.

This comes less than a month after the schools assistant band director Adam Hardy was arrested on suspicion of' having a sexual encounter with a student in Riverside, police said.

Novak was questioned in Hardy's alleged sexual conduct but is not the focus of any criminal investigations or charges.
