Woman struck and killed outside Fairborn church
FAIRBORN, Ohio -- A religious communty is grieving after a long-time member dies while heading to church.
Elizabeth Wilson, 83, was killed just outside First Baptist Church in Fairborn on Highview Drive near North Broad Street.
Wilson was being dropped off for last night's service when an oncoming car struck her as she tried to cross the street. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, Fairborn Police say the driver of the truck won't be facing any charges. Investigators say Wilson wasn't using a cross-walk.
