Three people injured by dog bites in Clark County
CLARK COUNTY, Ohio - Three people were taken to the hospital Wednesday evening after being bitten by a dog in Morefield Township in Clark County.
Police said an 18-month-old boy suffered "severe injuries" to his leg as a result from being bitten by the animal, a 5-year-old English bulldog. An 11-year-old girl and 57-year-old woman also suffered injuries as a result of the bite.
Investigators said they are still unsure exactly what led to the dog bites, but that the animal did have a history of biting. The dog was euthanized Thursday morning at the Clark County Humane Society.
All three victims were treated at the Springfield Regional Medical Center and released.
