SIDNEY, Ohio - Police have arrested one man in connection with a robbery and pursuit near Sidney early Monday morning.

Officers responded to the report of a crash on Michigan Avenue at the intersection with Interstate 75. According to reports, the SUV involved in the crash was the same vehicle reportedly pursued by Dayton police earlier in the morning in connection with a robbery at a Rally's restaurant on Salem Avenue.

Witnesses reported seeing the SUV exit I-75 and mile marker 92, State Route 47 in Sidney. The vehicle sped through a red light and slammed into a guard rail at the top of the entrance ramp.

According to reports, the car was missing the front right tire, rim, and tire mount.

Police arrested the driver, 47-year-old Harry Jarrett of Mason, pending his release from Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. Officials said they will wait until the investigation is complete before filing charges.
