Clark County mayor accused of hitting daughter
TREMONT CITY, Ohio -- A local mayor is accused of hitting his daughter.
David Shaw, the mayor of Tremont City in Clark County, has been arrested. He is accused of hitting his 20-year-old daughter in the head.
He faces charges of domestic violence.
The daughter claims she was struck in the head several times during an argument.
Shaw admits he and his daughter had a disagreement but that he never hit her.
Shaw admitted that he was intoxicated, according to official reports.
