Carlisle Mayor being investigated in road rage incident
CARLISLE, Ohio -- An area mayor is in hot water for allegedly getting hot under the collar.
Carlisle Mayor Tim Humphries is accused in a road rage incident.
It's the second time he has recently faced legal problems, the first when his city-owned computer was taken from Town Hall Nov. 5 and shipped to the FBI for a forensic analysis looking for possible inappropriate materials and photos.
The 41-year-old Humphries is accused of stopping his vehicle Dec. 1 and approaching another driver he felt was following him too close.
Cops say Humphries was holding a baseball bat.
Humphries is to appear in Franklin Municipal Court Friday facing multiple charges including aggravated menacing, obstructing official business and parking on a highway.
The computer investigation continues.
Humphries reportedly wants to run for Warren County Commission in next May's primary election.
