Urbana hopes to attract new jobs with tax credit for development

URBANA, Ohio -- Urbana city officials are working to make sure they bring some new jobs to their town.

City council is holding an emergency meeting today to set up tax credits to development a former industrial site.

An unnamed company says it wants to bring some 110 new jobs over three years to the former site of the Fox River-Neenah Paper Mill on West Court Street.

The council is looking at Corporate Municipal Income Tax Credits for the project.
