Police: Child rides with uncle intoxicated on prescription drugs
EATON, Ohio - Police stop a man after they see him driving erratically on school property. Thirty year old Jay Lunsford was taking his niece to Twin Valley School in West Alexandria . Witnesses say that Lunsford drove up on a curb and drove strangely while leaving school property. Police found Lunsford traveling west on U.S. 35 toward Eaton. They say he was intoxicated on prescription drugs. No one was injured. He later told Newscenter 7 that he blacked out. His wife says he takes the prescriptions to control pain. Lunsford is charged with failure to control and OVI.
