Miami County teen killed in Sunday crash
NEWTON TOWNSHIP, Miami County - Sixteen year old Robert D. Lyle of Covington died Sunday In a crash on Sugar Grove Road at State Route 48. Deputies say his car crossed into the path of a pick-up driven by 44 year old Tammy Newman of Laura. Lyle was prounounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 16 year old Zachary Baumgardner of Newberry Township, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by Careflight. Newman was treated and released from Upper Valley Medical Center.
