Ex-teacher and coach admits inappropriate messages to minor
TROY, Ohio -- A former teacher and coach pleads guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Manuel Perez, an ex-teacher-coach for the Milton-Union School District in West Milton was in Miami County Juvenile Court yesterday.
Perez, who lives in Fletcher, says he sent inappropriate text messages to a 17-year-old female high school student at Milton-Union.
The max sentence for the first-degree misdemeanor is six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Perez is out on bond.
