BREAKING NEWS: Service back after Vandalia power outage
VANDALIA, Ohio -- Almost 5000 DP&L customers in the Vandalia area were without power for up to almost an hour this morning.
The utility says a "substation event" happened at 5:11 a.m. to cause the outage but by 6:05 a.m., all power had been restored to the area.
The outage did impact a number of traffic signals in the Vandalia area and may have caused problems as far north as the Tipp City area.
