WEST CHESTER TWP., Ohio -- Two men are released after being questioned about a gas station robbery and standoff last night.

Cops say the men may still face charges.

West Chester Twp. police officials say the men were at the scene of the robbery in Sharonville north of Cincinnati, but were not actively participating.

A Sharonville officer saw the men leaving the scene before learning of the robbery.

When West Chester Township cops trailed the men to the Crescent Village apartments, one of the suspects ran back into an apartment after spotting the cops.

Soon after that a shot was heard.

The West Chester SWAT team was called out as a woman said the men were inside with her twin four-year-olds. They eventually surrendered.

Sharonville detectives are continuing to investigate the gas station robbery and say involved three men.
