UPDATE: Case of woman found alive in septic tank an accident
DARKE COUNTY, Ohio -- Investigators say an incident where a woman was found alive in a septic tank was an accident.
The investigation, including statements from the woman and evidence from the scene, concludes it was merely an accident with no criminal conduct on anyone's part, according to the Darke County Sheriff's Department.
The woman is discovered alive in a Darke County septic tank last night in the 9000 block of Horatio-Harris Creek Road near Bradford.
Firefighters got the woman out of the tank and paramedics took her to the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
She reportedly suffered head injuries.
