Congressman Turner Brings Mortgage Meeting To Dayton
DAYTON, Ohio -- While many Town Hall style meetings are taking on the health care debate, a similar meeting in Dayton today focused on the mortgage crisis.
Rep. Mike Turner moderated a forum this morning co-hosted by the Northeast-Midwest Institute at the Montgomery County Administration Building on Third Street in Dayton.
New regulations are needed in dealing with lenders, according to officials.
Some local organizations are looking for more funding.
The mortgage situation in the Miami Valley will continue at least another couple of years even if the economy improves, according to some experts.
