UNION, Ohio -- The Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office has approved charges of aggravated murder against 36-year-old Gary Marshall in the murder of both his parents.

Marshall was charged with two counts of aggravated murder and two counts of aggravated robbery.  Union police said he could still be facing additional charges.

The bodies of David Marshall, 65, and Susie Marshall, 61, were discovered around 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at their home at 53 Greencliff Drive in Union.  Police had gone to the home on a welfare check after relatives hadn't heard from the Marshalls in several days.

The Montgomery County Coroner's Office ruled Sunday that the couple was killed by blunt force trauma.

Gary Marshall was driving his parent's truck when Botkins police arrested him Saturday afternoon on drug charges.
