FAIRBORN, Ohio - A man was arrested Wednesday morning in Fairborn on warrants in both Michigan and Indiana.

United States marshals arrested Victor Jones at a home on the 1400 block of Vanderlyn Court. Jones was wanted on charges of failure to register, abduction, and child solicitation.

Marshals had to kick down the door in order to get Jones to come out, after the person who answered the door said Jones did not live at the address. Authorities believe the home is that of a relative, and that Jones was staying there with his 11-year-old daughter, who is on the national list of missing children.

Jones is accused of child abduction for kidnapping his daughter from child protection services, according to marshals. He is also faced with charges for not registering in Indiana and Michigan.

Jones had to be tazed before he could be taken into custody. His daughter was placed in the custody of Greene County Children Services, and is expected to return to Michigan soon.
