Preble County Sheriff: Budget Cuts Will Cost Residents Their Safety
EATON, Ohio -- Like many area law enforcement agencies, the Preble County Sheriff's Department is facing more budgets, which could mean fewer jobs.
Sheriff Mike Simpson said the county is looking at an 8 percent cut over the next few weeks, which he said would prevent him from keeping residents safe.
If forced to make more cuts, Simpson said he will likely have to cut patrols and a dispatcher position.
