CLARK COUNTY, Ohio -- The future of a Clark County industrial waste site remains murky.

The Tremont City barrel fill site northwest of Springfield holds nearly 52,000 barrels of waste on 8.5 acres.

Ohio EPA officials are exploring 11 options for dealing with the site--three containing the waste and eight for removing it.

They stress nothing has leaked into the nearby aquifer, but some liquids have moved around the site.

A decision on the action is expected in the next year.
