RIVERSIDE, Ohio - A man was arrested late Tuesday night in connection with a shooting in Riverside.

Bradshaw Taylor was taken into custody in Perry County, southeast of Columbus, just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. Dayton police had put out a broadcast to neighboring departments when the shooting was reported.

Police said Taylor is believed to have shot two women during an altercation involving several people along the 300 block of Lawver Lane in Riverside. Police said a verbal argument involving a group of men in their 20's escalated when one of the men was hit in the head with a pipe.

The men then allegedly fired shots towards the house where two women, who police said were in their 60's, were sitting. One woman was shot in the shoulder and the other in the ankle.

Police later identified the man hit with the pipe as the grandson of one of the two women.

None of the injuries as a result of the incident were life-threatening.
