DAYTON, Ohio -- A man is still recovering at Miami Valley Hospital after deputies say his brother-in-law stabbed him Monday night, July 6, at a home in Champaign County.

William Middleton, 47, was in serious condition as of Tuesday night.  His brother-in-law, 61-year-old Eddie Marcum, allegedly stabbed him with a steak knife after an argument over living arrangements, according to the Champaign County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday at a home in the 11000 block of Marysville Road in Johnson Township.  Marcum was arrested on a charge of felonious assault and taken to the Tri-County Jail in Mechanicsburg.
