Mail Stolen From Springfield School -- Along With Mailbox And Post
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Shawnee High School in Clark County was the site of a bizarre theft earlier this week.
A school official called the Clark County Sheriff's Office Tuesday morning, June 30, to report the school's mail had been stolen, along with the mail box and the pole it was attached to, according to the police report.
The theft apparently happened sometime after 7 p.m. Monday night. An employee reported that when she went to check the mail around 6:30 a.m. all she found was a hole in the ground where the post had been.
