You Could Break Law Tomorrow That Doesn't Exist Today

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Some rules of the road will be changing as of tomorrow.

You'll need to slow down or move over a lane for tow trucks and utility service vehicles along the roadside.

You also will be required to use your lights if your wipers are used for rain.

There is good news for big rigs. Semi's will be allowed 65 miles-per-hour on rural interstates, up from the current 55.

There will now be transition zones when speed limits drop more than 20 miles per hour.

Fines for not moving over or slowing under required conditions will be $300 plus court costs the first time you do it.

This all part of the state's transportation budget bill passed in March.
