Urbana May Grow Through Annexation
URBANA, Ohio -- A local community may soon get bigger.
Champaign County commissioners are considering a request to annex some 500 acres to Urbana.
Morrow Gravel Company owns most of the land, but it also includes the city's wastewater treatment plant and other properties.
If the request is granted, Urbana officials would provide complete city services to the property.
Urbana city council would also have to approve the proposal.
