Decade-Old Murder Suspect In Clark County
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The suspect in a 1998 murder arrived back in Clark County today, June 26 according to police.
Aaron Walker, 32, was arrested in Columbus Tuesday, June 23, after deputies say somebody came forward with information in the cold-case killing of 19-year-old Chauncy Harris.
Harris was gunned down just before midnight Oct. 14, 1998, in the 100 block of West Pleasant Street. Investigators think the shooting was part of a botched robbery.
Walker is charged with murder, aggravated robbery, and two counts of having weapons under disability. Springfield police picked Walker up earlier today from the Franklin County Jail.
