CONSUMER ALERT: Beef Recall Expanded
GREELEY, Colorado -- A meat recall is being expanded because of suspected E-coli contamination.
JBS-Swift Beef Company is voluntarily expanding the recall, which originally came out five days ago.
The announcement was made by both the company and the United States Agriculture Department.
More than 420,000 pounds of product is being recalled.
The USDA reports that the meat involved normally is used steaks and roasts.
