Fire Destroys Six Townhouses In West Carrollton
WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio -- Fire sweeps through several townhouses Friday night in West Carrollton, destroying six of them.
A fire broke out in the kitchen of one of the units at the Centerville Park Apartments on Tonywood Circle. The blaze spread and engulfed several other townhouses, sending smoke and flames into the air.
The West Carrollton Fire Departments was assisted by fire crews from Miami Township and Miamisburg.
One person was arrested after he allegedly tried to run into one of the burning units.
The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is helping the six families displaced by the fire.
