DAYTON, Ohio - Two people were stabbed and another person was injured during an altercation involving a mop.

Police said the stabbings happened early Tuesday afternoon at a home on James H. McGhee Boulevard.

According to the responding officers, a mother and her daughter got into an argument over a broken mop. Reports say the woman stabbed her neighbor, who in turn stabbed the woman's daughter. During the argument, a 15-year-old boy was also hit over the head with a baseball bat.

The two stabbing victims were taken to an area hospital. No one is believed to have any life-threatening injuries.

People are just down right stupid. A broken mop was worth all this? You know, it just makes one wonder, what kind of mind some people have, if they have one at all.
