Man Allegedly Attempts Two Robberies in Same Day
KETTERING, Ohio - Police believe one man attempted two robberies in the same day in Kettering on Saturday.
Officials said a man first entered a Subway on the 3000 block of Woodman Drive just after 5 p.m. and handed the cashier a note demanding money. After the cashier refused, the man simply left the store.
Police say the man then passed the same note to a woman a short time later in the parking lot of the Kroger on Dorothy Lane. The woman handed the man her purse, but the man did not find anything he wanted to take.
The suspect is still being sought by police.
