Darke County Police Invesitgate Bomb Threats
GREENVILLE, Ohio - Two bomb threats were phoned into the Darke County Sheriff's Office just minutes apart late Sunday night.
The first call, received around 10:50 p.m., claimed that four bombs had been placed by the caller at the Anderson-Marathon Ethanol Plant on the eastern edge of Greenville. The plant is located just off State Route East 571 in the new Greenville Industrial Park.
The second call, believe to be the same caller, came just minutes after the first and claimed to have placed bombs at the Wal-Mart Superstore at 1501 Wagner Avenue in Greenville.
Bomb crews searched both locations late Sunday night and were unable to find any evidence of explosives.
Police are investigating the 911 calls.
