Polls Closed In the Miami Valley
DAYTON, Ohio -- The long campaign trail has finally reached its end and results have come in for many candidates and issues.
According to election officials, the voting process has gone fairly smoothly today despite the long lines.
Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner has estimated that the polls may have seen a turnout of as many as 80 percent of registered voters in Ohio.
Steve Harsman, Montgomery County Board of Elections director said that he expects final tallys to show a record turnout of more than 300,000 votes in the county.
