Miamisburg, Ohio - A fire inside a garage on Upper Miamisburg Road in German Twp. burned the building to the ground and caused traffic delays midday Friday.

The garage owner, Santiago Taylor, had been using a woodstove for heat while working in the garage. He was gathering materials and readying his vehicles for his snow removal business.

According to Taylor's wife Sandra, both she and her husband were in the house when they noticed smoke coming from the garage. They attempted to save as much as they could from the garage, including their 2001 truck, but were driven away by the intense smoke.

Fire fighters were able to put out the blaze, but most of the building had already burned away.

The fire caused traffic delays on both Route 4 and Route 725 in Miamisburg. Both roads are now clear.
