Dayton Mother Sentenced For Attempting To Prostitute Daughter

DAYTON, Ohio -- A Dayton mother was sentenced Monday for attempting to use her 17-year-old daughter as a prostitute.

39-year-old Rachel White was sentenced to 18 months in jail, the maximum sentence, and she must now register as a sex offender. White pled guilty to charges of compelling prostitution and child endangerment.

Police say white attempted to sell her daughter for sex last April to support her own drug addiction.

White responded by saying "absolutely" when Montgomery County Judge A.J. Wagner called her crime disgusting.

"I'm glad you understand," said Judge Wagner.
