DAYTON, Ohio -- A woman police say used her daughter as a prostitute pled guilty Monday to child endangering and attempted compelling prostitution of a minor.

39-year-old Rachel White, also known as Rachel Lakes, is set to be sentenced Oct. 10.

White could get up to two years in prison.

Police say they got tips that a woman was using her underage daughter as a prostitute at hotels.  According to prosecutors, White used her 17-year-old daughter as a prostitute and used the money to buy drugs.

Undercover officers went to a hotel on N. Dixie Dr. at E. Siebenthaler Ave on April 21.  White was arrested, as well as 41-year-old Michael Melvin.

White's daughter was placed in the custody of the Children Services Division of Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services.

Melvin pled guilty to compelling prostitution of a minor and was sentenced to one year in prison on July 21.
