SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- A boy is still recovering after being attacked by two dogs Monday night.

8-year-old Caleb Crawford was playing with his sister in a creek bed near his home when two dogs attacked him.  His sister ran for help, and the boy's mother, Alichia Crawford came running and kicked the dogs off.

The boy sufferred multiple bite wounds and had to have 12 stitches to his ear.

The Clark County Warden and sheriff's deputies eventually found a loose boxer, and the owner will be charged.  The second dog was a stray.

The dog owner was cited for failure to control, not having current rabies shots, and not having a current dog license.

The boxer is under quarantine for 10 days.
