HAMILTON, Ohio -- A girl convicted of beating and torturing a developmentally disabled girl has been sentenced to 44 years in prison.

17-year-old Cheyenne Blanton pled guilty in July to a long list of charges including aggravated burglary, felonious assault, and kidnapping.

Blanton faced a maximum of 59 years in prison.  Her boyfriend, 17-year-old Joseph Nagle, pled guilty Aug. 29 to the same charges for the Feb. 22 attack.

Blanton and her Nagle tied up 19-year-old Ashley Clark at her home, and then proceeded to brutally beat her.

"Ashley was bound hand and foot and gagged," said Assistant Prosecutor Glenn Rossi. "She was beaten over her entire body with a baseball bat and fists, as well as being kicked, which caused serious physical harm requiring hospital treatment."

The two shaved Clark's head, forced her to walk barefoot in the snow, and attacked her mother on her return from work.

Nagle will be sentenced Oct. 14 and also faces a maximum 59 years in prison.
