LEBANON, Ohio -- A man in Springboro could get five years in prison for tampering with evidence in an incident of menacing.  He is accused of waving a gun at several people in a park behind his home.

A jury found 38-year-old Michael Webber guilty of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, but they found him not guilty of aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor

Webber allegedly waved a revolver at a Brian Quinn, 21, and two boys, both 16, on March 14 when he confronted them about being out after curfew.  The boys called 911 after the incident.

Webber denied hiding the gun or waving it at the victims, but police found the weapon in Webber's home after serving a search warrant.

Webber said police had ignored his complaints about late-night activities in the park right beside his home.
