MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have traded four prospects to the Cleveland Indians for reigning AL Cy Young Award winner C.C. Sabathia.

The deal bolsters the Brewers rotation for a playoff push, and signals the Indians have given up hopes of contending for a postseason berth. Sabathia went 19-7 with a 3.21 ERA to win the AL Cy Young Award last season and gives the Brewers another power pitcher to pair with Ben Sheets as Milwaukee tries to make the playoffs for the first time since 1982.

Sabathia says tight now, he's just trying to blend in and get back to having fun on the mound -- something he didn't do in the postseason last year.

Sabathia arrived in Milwaukee before last night's game against Colorado and is scheduled to pitch against the Rockies tonight.
