Dorothy Lane Market Recalls Beef Products For E. coli
DAYTON, Ohio -- Six people have fallen ill in the area with E. coli in the past two weeks and one local grocery has taken action.
Dorothy Lane Market has asked consumers to bring back unused ground beef products bought from all of the store's locations with the sell by dates between June 9th and July 29th.
Two people who have gotten sick after consuming meat purchased at Dorothy Lane's Washington Square store.
The DLM sold some 25,000 packages of raw ground beef during the time being investigated. The store is working with both the U.S. and Ohio Department's of Agriculture.
The recall involves meat from the same processing plant in Nebraska that was involved in a national recall put out recently by Kroger.
