The trillions of dollars weren't spent, they were loaned. The banks are required to pay the gov't (us) back. There may even be interest attached, so the gov't (us again) would actually be profitting from the deal. And most Americans can't even balance their own budget, so how do you think they know how to allocate tax dollars? It's when people are forced to make big decisions on short timescales that mistakes are made. Some people are trying to make things better, mistakes or not, but they get flamed by the people they are trying to help. Point is, there are too many people complaining about things they don't know about, or don't have the whole story. People are only told half of the stories (either the Left side or the Right side), and people seem to just take things at face value. People need to stop being sheep and parrots.
