Teacher Assaulted at School outside Springfield

SOUTH VIENNA, Ohio -- A teacher was assaulted at the South Vienna Middle School just east of Springfield.

Police say the student kicked his teacher and then continued the assault with a punch to his stomach.

The 12 year old boy was taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center in Springfield. The teacher was treated for his injuries locally and is not seriously injured.
