Tattered Flags Retired

TROY, Ohio -- Over a thousand tattered American flags were retired with honor on this year's Flag Day in Troy and New Carlisle.
The ceremoies were conducted by American Legion posts. Over a thousand flags were retired in Troy at the Miami County Fairgrounds and another 5,000 flags went up in smoke at the American Legion post home in New Carlisle.
