RTA Gets Funds for New Rides

DAYTON, Ohio -- The Miami Valley RTA got a present from Uncle Sam today. Congressman Mike Turner handing over a check worth almost a half a million dollars. It's part of the federal funding needed for RTA to buy new buses.
RTA Executive Director Mark Donaghy says, it's money that's needed.
The new buses will run on biodiesel fuels. They will be more fuel efficient and have the latest safety and security features.
