Qbase Receives 24 United Way Contracts

03/11/2008 15:44:34

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Qbase has garnered contracts with 24 United Way organizations to analyze donor data, beating out more than a dozen larger national companies in the process.

The Beavercreek-based data management and analytic company began working with United Way of the Greater Dayton Area two and a half years ago, paving the way for the national opportunity.

The question Dayton needed answered was: "Can we increase the participation in United Way in our community?" Qbase provided answers that allowed the organization to increase its participation.

For Dayton's United Way, the data analysis has "opened up what's possible," allowing the organization to look at different market segments such as retirees, lapsed givers and leadership givers, said Mark Levy, president and chief executive officer.

After its success with the initial round of contracts, Qbase chairman and CEO Bill Pardue said his company is negotiating with 39 other United Way organizations.
"We think we can replicate Dayton's success in communities all over the country," Pardue said.
