Skin, a drama about a young couple whose families forbid them to be together, premieres tonight (October 20th) at 9 p.m. ET on Fox. One half of the couple, Adam, is the son of the Los Angeles District Attorney and a stern judge. The female half of the lovebirds is Jewel, the beloved daughter of the city's most successful producer of adult entertainment.

In the debut episode, Adam and Jewel meet, fall in love, and nearly fall apart after their parents' identities and professions are revealed to each another. Also, audiences learn more about District Attorney Michael Roame's (Kevin Anderson) hard ball agenda and porn producer Larry Goldman's (Ron Silver) ruthless business sense.

Actor Kevin Anderson plays Skin's ambitious District Attorney, and says that two of the show's main characters are morally ambiguous: "I think it's interesting that the audience at the end of the show is going to wonder like who's the real bad guy here. You know, I mean, I think my character's going to be dealing with a lot of his own political corruption and Ron's (Silver) character is dealing with his business stuff, and you know, we're both going to be digging up dirt on each other and it's like well who's really the bad guy here."
