At lunch time on Thursday in St. Paul, I was trying to figure out how best to stay awake when I suddenly looked at the TV screen, and saw something that made me jump. And it wasn't the pushpin that I had been sticking into my knee in hopes of remaining alert.
There's nothing like lunch with your dog tired colleagues, some wine for Belinda, an aptly named dessert and then some surreptitous photographs to help liven up Day 3 of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
You have probably heard me or others talk about "radio row" at the conventions this year. It's basically an area where a number of radio stations and networks are crammed together. I thought I would give you a sample tour of what it looks like.
Tonight's session of the Republican National Convention should be about John McCain's nomination and the acceptance speech of his running mate Sarah Palin. But Palin's family will get a lot of the press.
